Elmwood area watering holes?

Where can a thirsty office worker get a drink in the Elmwood area around happy hour? Bonus points for interesting cocktails...

Fox and Hound is your typical sports bar with lots of TV's, burgers, and average bar food.

Nacho Mamas is OK for drinks but I don't recommend the food. It has a decent bar area for seating and they serve outside.

There's also a Tavern directly behind The Fat Hen Grill on Citrus. Never been but it seems to always have cars.

I enjoy sitting at the bar at Venezia II's on Central. They pour my Maker's Mark generously.

I usually don't do "interesting" drinks so I can't help there.

The Mill is pretty cool. I have no idea what street it's on or how to get there, but it's cool if you can find it. (I wasn't drunk, just don't know that area)

It's on River Oaks Road (South) near River Oaks Hospital just off Citrus Blvd.

There's also "THE CAMP" on Dickory? (pass Seymours and it's on the right) I went there after inventory one year. It's about like The Mill.

Unfortunately, the most interesting bar in the hood is Copeland's...vodka "on tap".

Well, you have The Shack and the Rivershack. I have heard decent things about The Camp. I've been to The Mill (what is it with these names) but walked out smelling like an ashtray.

That would be the Shimmy Shack, old owners of The Rivershack.

We've spent several enjoyable Saturday afternoons at Shimmy Shack. They do great bloody mary's and margaritas.

This coming Saturday is going to be spent at River Shack.

I enjoy them, too. I think my favorite was:
