The fact that this asshat gave Cafe Minh three stars already means he's of dubious credibility.

What's your point? That it deserves more stars or fewer? Personally, I like Cafe Minh quite a bit.bam bam wrote:The fact that this asshat gave Cafe Minh three stars already means he's of dubious credibility.

Cafe Minh is a four star restaurant. Or at least 3.5, do something to differentiate from the other casual places that he gives 3 stars to. It is as good a lunch place as there is in the city.
Re: WWLtv's new anonymous food critic
His ratings do appear to be on the conservative side. One thing that WWL has done is to add a restaurant review site, for restaurant-specific reviews by users like us as well as by their 'Unknown Food Critic'. I don't know if you can get to the site through their portal, but the direct link is restaurants.wwltv.com.
I think this is a nice complement to existing sites like this that also do compare & contrast as well as have space for discussion about other food items like recipes, cooking methods, etc.
It does seem like a randomly selected person could do the 'unknown food critic' as well as the actually selected person, though.

Re: WWLtv's new anonymous food critic
WWL's point in picking an Unknown Food Critic was selecting your average Joe, not having a professional. I haven't actually seen the show but I have checked out the site a bit.sirvelvet wrote:

Re: WWLtv's new anonymous food critic
just a quick squint of that site, and there are restaurants that have been closed that have recent ratings and comments.
