I'm glad they are no longer gulf stream. that was a mismanaged, MICRO managed disaster, where the employee was treated like dirt.
I love houstons. I go there on fancy occasions... I LOVE the artichokes, and the oysters... the staff is wonderful, and I tip well. during jazz fest? always take out of towners there.
the employees seem elated to be houstons again. those I've spoken to feel that the wages are wonderful, and the management helpful.
and the wine? love it.

This is hearsay, but I've heard it said from three former Houston's employees: There once was a directive from Houston's management to the waitstaff regarding prime rib orders. The waiters were told to ask the customer how they would like their STEAK cooked, due to the frequency of the clientele assuming prime rib was actually prime RIBS.

Funny about the prime ribs, my daughter works @ Texas roadhouse, & ask someon e if they wnted mushrooms & onions with their steak, & the idiot said he ordered ribs.
