Is there anyone not rooting for Tom Watson?

A great round of golf. He could have went south after Marino took forever on 15. But a great putt a 16 and a strong finish.

This is absolutely great.

ABC can thank Watson for any audience thay have with Tiger gone.

I'll certainly be pulling for him tomorrow.

I was always a fan but he really won me over when I read about him taking care of his sick caddy. (Bruce Ewards)

I didn't get to watch today but I'll sure be watching tomorrow!

He just ran out of gas. My biggest criticism of golf is that these tournaments are more about somebody losing it than a guy making big shots to win it. That happened here but still a great performance by Watson.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but Watson had every opportunity to make shots to win it in regulation, and Cink sank some nice birdies to put himself in contention.

It goes both ways. How many times have we seen Tiger make a charge and blow by somebody nursing a lead?
It was great golf. Westwood made some amazing shots today after getting himself in trouble.
At least an American won and Stewart Cink is making me cry!

Great weekend of watching golf. I sure wish Watson had made that putt on 18

I just wish he had played the 9 iron. The overshoot with the 8 is what made the wheels come off. That's what made him blow the lag...AND "the putt"

It was great nonetheless
