Welcome to New Orleans, Malcolm Jenkins

Post by bam bam »

Don't mind these aging dirty hippies here for Jazzfest, they'll be gone in a week. This really is a nice place to live especially if you are a big physical corner. I'd tell you to ask someone but we haven't had a big physical corner here in about 15 years. But trust me, we are starved for one. So please, please don't be a bust.

I should add that the NFL hit a home run by moving the draft to 3 pm and limiting the time between picks to 8 minutes.

I would like to see the Saints trade up in the next couple of picks. Rashad Johnson of Alabama would provide some more insurance to the beleaguered secondary.

Payton was just on Espn. Said they had to draft Jenkins. They loved Beanie Wells. After drafting Jenkins, they tried to trade up into the 1st round trying to get Wells but they couldn't get a deal done.

I like both Wake Forest players. They should be very well coached.

Thank God they didn't draft Wells. He couldn't stay healthy in college. How is he going to stay healthy in the pros?
Now that I said that, he'll probably rush for 1000 yds. next year, ala Mewelde.

I don't know what the hell the Saints were doing with their 5th pick. Taking a punter with two decent backs in Franklin Summers and Javon Ringer on the board. Never waste a draft pick on a kicker or punter.

Maybe they were having flashbacks to Gramatica in Denver....

But I agree with you bam, silly move.
“I'm sure when Peyton Manning was growing up he always wanted to throw the TD pass that gave the Saints a Super Bowl win," Jorge Arangure wrote. "Now he has."
