Cypress Restaurant

Post by Isabella Maja »

I've never been.

Do you like it & what's it like?

I never hear anything about this place!

I've had a couple of dinner meetings there - the food has been middling to good; service attentive. It is perhaps a little pricey for what you get, but it is a pleasant enough place, especially given the area.

As Barbara said, the food is good neighborhood food, nothing special. The problem I find is that they do not take reservations, and the wait can be very long in the small bar area. When they tell you 15 minutes, 45 minutes later you are still waiting.

The waiters and the owner, Katherine is very nice.

Thanks Y'all.

If we end up there - okay, but I won't vote heavily one way or another.
Is it possible to wait outside instead of the cramped bar?

I don't mind waiting, I'll be with a friend who will want to chat
so the time will pass quickly enough.

It is possible to wait outside. They have one small cafe table and two chairs. WARNING: I know you hate smoke, this is the smoking section. In the parking lot right outside the door.
