True. No one should cry over spilt milk, or beer. Can't help thinking, though, of Billy Sol Hurok and Big Jim McBob: "Blow'd up good/Blow'd up real good."Turbodog wrote:It would have been a tragedy if someone had been hurt.

Yeah, I have my gripes too. Lagers is still pouring the Abby Ale, but the Chimes has been pouring the Oatmeal Stout for at least a month.Blue Cross Sux wrote:Not to mention the Abbey Ale. Really looking forward to that one.
By the way, I still haven't found an outlet serving the Oatmeal Stout. Bulldog on Magazine still has the 4 (5?) Grain. Is there a listing of who is currently serving the Stout?
Re: Explosion at Abita brewery
Both Abbey Ale and Andygator should start showinfg up in stores anytime, if not already. I know the brewpub is selling bothin bottles (to go).
I don't know why Bulldog would still be pouring the previous Select (4 grain). Chimes has been selling out of the Oatmeal stout.

Two of those Brew Pub bottles of A-G went home with me last weekend. 22 oz. (each) of joy.

I know they are offering the Oatmeal Stout at the Abita Dinner at BACCO. I haven't seen any of it in bottles, though.
Sounds yummy!:whip:
