Little Indian Place

Post by ratcheese »

I had lunch today at the little Indian place on the corner of Oak and Carrolton--ehh? so-so. I'm not in a hurry to go back and unfortunately, I don't think I'd recommend it to anyone. (Sorry little Indian place)

I feel your pain. I LOOOOOVE indian food, but for the most part have been underwhelmed at what New Orleans has to offer. I used to love Indian Palace off of Vets but they are gone after Katrina. Now I love India 4 U in Mandeville....but it's quite a trek to go for Indian food.

Have you tried That Indian Place in Place St. Charles? It's in the food court but it's yummy.

As of a few weeks ago, it was gone. Unless it moved somewhere else in the food court, that spot is now a decent bakery. Sorry, I liked it too.

Sara's in the Riverbend has some Indian dishes on their menu. Or try Salt n Pepper at 201 N. Peters. though Jamaican, try Boswell's on Tulane for great curries. also try the new location of Tandoori Chicken on Cleary.
still love the lamb palak at Taj Mahal.
