Mrs. Fury was itchin' to get out and do something this gorgeous Saturday. All I heard from her the last few days was, "LET'S RIDE!" We hit the Eastern border of our State and went through the woods and here's a link to what we done did........ http://www.ladayrides.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=88

Thanks Mrs. Fury and Jeeves for the pics.

It's my understanding that the guy that built the "round castle" on Hwy. 11 was from Chalmette. He had a bunch of cats, and wanted to live some place where they couldn't crap in the corner:crap::o

Well if I could find a way to make my cat puke in the litter box, or at least ON THE TILE instead of the carpet I'd be happy.
I like kids. They taste like chicken.

Boy am I lucky. My super long hair guy cat (see avatar) doesn't throw up hairballs, doesn't scratch furnature, generally well behaved. His only bad habit is that he wants to play at about 4:00 am, and comes in and wakes me up.
As John Wayne once said: "Life's tough. It's even tougher if you're stupid."

OK, the cat sh*t in the corner wasn't even hearsay. :p

But I remember hearing years back (c.25?) that the castle was built by a guy from da parish, who was a contracter. And, as my cloudy mind remembers, he died not too long aftwards of cancer. And then there was Rapunzel, or was it Laquita???....
