What A Glorious Sunday

Post by Low-N-Slow »

Slept in late, almost half the day,
Omelet, made-to-order, at a breakfast buffet,
Temperature, cool; low humidity, too,
Leisurely drive down Carrollton to the Audubon Zoo,
(Did you see me there? I saw you!),
Night-blooming jasmine, fragrant, outside my half-open patio door,
Days like these, who could want for more?
"I find the pastrami to be the most sensual of all the salted cured meats. Hungry?"

Oh hon, I agree 100%! This weekend was absolutely perfect weather. We opened all of the windows in the house and let the wind air it out. This morning I let the weinies out for their morning romp and couldn't get them back in. Willie was out rolling in the grass..I noticed Ernie watching him...next thing they were both rolling all over the place. I did go out and check to make sure they hadn't found something nasty to roll in like dogs so like to do. Nope..nothing there..they're just enjoying the cooler temperatures and fresh air. I agree with ladywhowaits...October and April weather make the hot temps bearable.
