Manchac and Spillway Crabbin' and Blackberryin' Expedition.

Post by Jeeves »

Mrs. Fury had her tastebuds set for berled crabs today. And blackberries, too. She checked all her secret blackberry patches along the way to Manchac. See pics at http://ladayrides.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=349&p=1201#p1201 We had more luck with the blackberries.

Once again, enjoyed your pictures. After loss of the cruiser, what are you driving?

He updated the pics with ones from today. I'm havin' a crab berl!

His new car is a Camry driven by a little old lady to and from the store with hardly any miles on it.
I like kids. They taste like chicken.

Here's a link to the second set of pictures that doesn't show up on the You Tube thingie above

Art, as Mrs. F. said, I picked up a two year old Camry with very low mileage. Quite a change from the old Crown Vic interceptor, but loaded with extras and I'm having fun using the sun roof, cruise control and remote locking features.

Mrs. Fury's Sunday dinner looked like this:

Yup, we had to put the nets aside and use baited lines instead. Too many rocks on the bottom.

They look great, but not really giants. What's the size limit in your state? You measure across the width of the shell? We're waiting for the first fresh corn up here. Best of luck with the new wheels. :toast:

There is no minimum recreational size limit for blue crabs. The possession limit is 12 dozen per person. We always throw back anything small and certainly all females in berry stage (bearing eggs).
