Springfield, Tickfaw State Park

Post by Jeeves »

We needed to shop at Berry Town Produce in Ponchatoula Sunday. They don't open until 11 am on Sundays so we headed over to Taste of Bavaria for some brunch goodies (Attn: Gourmondo! :) ) We also stopped at Tickfaw State Park for a quick looksee while we were in the neighborhood. There's only one cemetery visit on this trip. LOL! Pictures at http://ladayrides.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=304

Enjoyed your pictures once again. Although you may have been cool, we're back to super cold again. It's been raining and now snowing again here, continuously since Sunday. I80 totally closed last 12 hours. Pictures at dawn.

I wanna see pictures! I only see snow every five or so years.
I like kids. They taste like chicken.

Good lawd, Art! We're back up to 65F today, clear and perfect. Come hang with us 'til the white stuff's gone! We're going to Laurel Valley Village in Thibodaux Saturday. Lunch will probably be at Spahr's in Des Allemands.

I always forget about that place until I am passing by going to Memphis or somewhere without time to stop. Do they still have the great bread? I've always enjoyed my stops but haven't been there in ages.

Wonderful rye bread, pumpernikel, strudel, danish, etc. Here's some I brought home:

Be careful, the place is habit forming and fattening!
