WANDA SYKES- Love her!

Post by NoNoNanette »

From Perez Hilton:

With the cancellation of MadTV after 14 seasons, Fox is left with an empty timeslot to permanently fill.

Well, no need to look any further. They've found the perfect woman for the job!

Funny lady Wanda Sykes will be hosting her own Saturday night talkshow, The Sykes Show, on Fox.

The episodes will be an hour long and formatted similar to a panel series.

The show will also feature special clips in which it follows Wanda as she films field segments.

If it goes well, hopefully Fox will bump Sykes up to five nights a week Monday-Friday!

I love her too. She's always good for a different, but funny, outlook. Getting her own show was long overdue.
Now this is more like it.

Hoepfully she will still be on New Christine, cuz she is the only reason I watch that. She is so funny.

I do not care much for that show either, but Wanda is awesome in that role. I am glad she is getting her own show.

Walton and Johnson were slamming her yesterday morning.... saying that her show might last 5 minutes on the air.

I've never seen her politics get WAY out of control. Being a Larry David buddy, she's liberal, but not really vocal. I was surprised how they picked on her.

Walton and Johnson seem more bitter and negative than I've ever heard them. It's disappointing because they can be so funny.

They CAN be hysterical, DG- and they have been relatively "grumpy" since the coronation.

I've noticed it too. :)

(As I've been relatively grumpy since the coronation, as well) ;)
