Injectable Marinades

The past few years, I have been using the Cajun Injector brand creole butter marinade in the Thanksgiving turkey. My family had really enjoyed it in the past and I always thought it enhanced the flavor of the turkey. Last year, we really did not care for the taste of it at all. Maybe it was just a bad batch or something. I don't know. Needless to say, I'm a little hesitant to go there again this year. I'm hoping that someone may have a homemade marinade recipe or recommend one that they have tried with success. Thanks in advance.
