Vizard's

Post by Yvette »

Vizard’s: Finally got to make his new restaurant since he moved into the former spot of Alberta, (which by the way, I loved and miss) He has taken away the little sofa and chairs right outside the entrance, or perhaps Alberta did, but it sure made it easier to get in the door when crowded and people were waiting by the bar.

Charming little place, it was packed. Started off with eggplant that was peeled and hollowed out, fried then stuffed with crabmeat, crimini mushrooms and a rich bernaise. Can you scream freaking awesome!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend you give that a try.

My husband had the filet served over wilted spinach, which he scoffed up so fast I didn’t get a taste. He said it was good though.

Service impeccable and friendly. Had a bottle of Swanson Merlot with dinner.

That sounds wonderful. I'll have to go check out Chef Handsome again soon!
“I'm sure when Peyton Manning was growing up he always wanted to throw the TD pass that gave the Saints a Super Bowl win," Jorge Arangure wrote. "Now he has."
