I had this wine Saturday night, with a fabulous pizza from Carmelo's (peperoni, italian sausage, roasted peppers and onions). Both the wine and the pizza were superb. The wine is a steal at only $13.99 (at Mandeville Albertson's). Highly reccomended.

Your mention of Carmelo's reminds me of a recommendation passed-on by someone I really trust a long time ago, and I've still never been there. I don't know why. I guess I better put it back on my list since we are on a new dining format comprised of places we have never been. Trying to break out of old habits, you know. Thanks for the mention.

I have eaten at/from Carmelo's 5 or so times since he opned in Madeville. Always good! Becoming one of my favorites. Perhaps the best pizza I have had in the metro area (well,, that and Pizza Man!). Non pizza items 1st class, too.
