doesn't CBS know?

Post by LauraMc »

"If CBS, which is broadcasting the game, gets the ideal matchup in the Colts and Vikings, Pilson said it could be worth up to about four million more viewers than the worst matchup in the Jets and Saints. The Super Bowl, with any combination of teams playing in it, is good for at least 90 million US viewers."
Don't they know Saints vs Colts is the ideal match-up? Home town boy vs home team?:p

That has to be a misquote. The Jets bring the largest media market in the country. The ideal matchup for the SB would have to include them over Indy.

I think in terms of ratings the Vikes may bring a little more to the table than the Saints. Slightly bigger media market, somewhat of a nationwide fan base due to their success in the 70s, Favre. But I do think the difference is negligible considering the Saints are a far more entertaining team. And the Vikes coach looks like a child molestor.
