Re: Andygator in bottles
After a bit of research, I found the recipe/grain bill. Perhaps Mark (brewmaster at Abita, who we hired while he was finding his life's calling during grad school) would take another crack at it-though I don't know if they are still using Munton and Fison malt. Yep. You're correct.
That was before the Blossman's took over.
Wish I could find that beer again.

Re: Andygator in bottles
Long ago, maybe 7-8 years, the Brew Pub used to host "guest brews"; brews from other craft brewers, on tap.
Once it was an ale called "Chillsner", which was infused with chili peppers.
That was the best beer I ever had.

Esquire Magazine
As usual, a slam dunk in journalism.
An excellent spread on beef, butchers, and recipes.
Andrea's gets a mention as well.
Non-pompous reporting at it's finest.
Not updated online yet, but the magazine is worth every penny.

Re: The food message board family grows....
Tom's site has 16 posts as of 4:40 PM today (posts made by people other than Tom), as opposed to this site's food forum, which logged 9 and TOB's food forum, which logged 7. And Tom's site has only been available for several days. Explain to me how this qualifies as "dying a slow death, with o...

The best thing to do would be to just ignore him.
Attention is what he craves.
He started his own forum only after this one launched, and was wildly popular.
Typical TF Pavlovian reflex.
