One of Kim Komando's tips of the day recently was a way to stop the volume change with commercials. I must have deleted it, but I'm sure it's on her website. That's one of the more useful daily emails around, by the way. She is a great computer resource.

In terms of the language, if you don't have a personal contact who will immerse you, Rosetta Stone is your best bet. It's not cheap, though.

Brunch is fine - but where the chef really shines is at dinner. It is most definitely worth the trip.

Agree on all counts. If you are using the CCC as a venue for a Sunday stroll, move over, start at the back, whatever. We saw that idiot with the double stroller too, what an inconsiderate fool. I got a little tired of those loud people throwing jello shots all over the road, also, while they dragged...

It's about 2 doors down from Cafe Degas. We had a nice impromptu lunch there in the early fall, on their porch. As I recall we had salads and shared a pizza of some sort, drank quite a bit of prosecco. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the lunch.
