Such a better location! The Perkins spot was in the freakin' boonies! Hammond HiWay/Jefferson HiWay/Corporate Drive is so much closer to what's going on in B. R. I hope the menu doesn't suffer.

Some friends stayed at Le Richelieu recently. The rooms seemed of a nice size and were well furnished, decorated. Pool, poolsde bar and restaurant, very nice staff. Free parking in a guarded, walled lot behind the hotel. Quieter part of the FQ, less traffic. http://www.lerichelieuhotel.com/

Well, that sucks. Saturday lunch at Katie's was like Mid City reunion day.

We stopped in the grocery a couple of weekends ago (Gre'aud's) and it looked interesting. Is Lovecchio's open Saturdays?

I still haven't tried it (although I did have quite a few Jockamo IPA's and Restoration Ale's last night. I think this beer will be arund for a while. Maybe permanent (as the Restoration Ale became). I have heard nothing but good. Haven't had a chance to sample it either, but my time is coming soon...
