I love this place.

It's somewhat close to my work, and whenever we have time for a decent lunch it's almost always here. The daily specials are always good, as are the smoked chicken and fried seafood po-boys. The seafood gumbo is always good, too. Loaded with oysters and shrimp.

The weather is absolutely fantastic...

We're spending the weekend out at Fairview, and it couldn't be better weather for it. They even had folks water-skiing. I don't think it's quite warm enough for that yet, but it's close!

Hmm...never thought of that as offensive. I find that curious...I just asked three women (all of whom are wives, though not all mine) I was dining with if they thought that offensive and none of them did.
