I took the carcass from a turkey breast I roasted on Sunday w/ sage, lemons, and garlic... threw it in the crockpot w/ some white beans, rosemary, onions, more garlic and chicken broth. So I'm calling it Tuscan White Bean Turkey Soup.

I was already on a budget and we only eat out about once a month, but indulging in interesting ingredients from Dorignac's or Hong Kong Market made for fun shopping, cooking and eating. Now I find myself creating more ways to use herbs from my garden and utilizing pantry items I already have in new ...

Yeah Figs... my favorite fruit (at least right now.) Thanks for the posts. My fiance keeps asking me to cook something with the figs off of our tree, but they don't last that long around me!
