I cheat and use a simple marinade I buy at the store-Lawry's. The one I use for shrimp used to be called Citrus Marinade, now it's called Hawaiin--but it's the same thing. I will note that I marinate shrimp for purposes of grilling to go w/ filets--not for shrimp and grits. Anyway, it works for me.

That's so funny about the Dr. Bob sign-a friend gave us one years ago which we hide deep in a closet unless she is visiting.

Hadn't been to a Palm in a few years-the last one was in D.C. (perhaps the ultimate Palm). Holy cow it was expensive, but very good. Bayona == have always so wanted to like this place. I have her cook book and like it-but every meal there has disappointed. Not bad, not terrible, just not up to the rave reviews.
