Re: Halloween Traditions
ouch Not all young children;) My unfortunate son told me he is the only kid without tv video games. That said, he is impossible to get inside most of the time. I don't remember the hotdog/Halloween connection, but I have a bad memory. Is this a N.O. or a national thing? kcdixie cat, Who is Ric? Dou...

Re: Halloween Traditions
We did popcorn balls and candy apples too as kids. Now we have people over for dinner and then pumpkin carving to follow dinner. We buy a pile of pumpkins of all sizes. Friends can pick their own and carve them up. Participants must be careful with those sharp little knives while consuming alchohol...

While I've never been to a quarter horse race, and can't comment on the accuracy of the stereotype Bams indicated, I'd just come in to say that the quarter horse is the real man's horse. I adore them, and would love to watch them race even if I might be standing next to some greasy characters. Did y...

Re: Is Dark Knight the best comic book movie ever?
My dad and I went to see this movie together. I loved it and he thought it was just "ok." Having grown up with the original batman (Comics and tv show), he said that it had always been aimed at kids. The "POW" "BAM" in the comics, and the lighter tone to them have clear...

Re: What is your favourite Cheese?
Isobella, On the capital square there is a little store called "Fromagination." They sell Wisconsin cheeses as well as cases full of cheeses from all over the world. The best part is that you can taste ALL of the cheeses before purchasing. Which hotel are you at? The store has a website, F...

Re: What is your favourite Cheese?

My favorites are Hook's Bandaged Cheddar, Mobay, Aged Gouda (loaded with crystals!), Pleasant Ridge Reserve, Oococh Mountain...any interesting Blue I can ge...
