Zuppardo's has them on sale this week. $2.99/lb.
Nice and meaty. There are two racks on my smoker now.

Re: Hey! I miss you guys!

Frankly, I stopped coming around because of all the political banter in THE LOUNGE. I mentioned it to admin & I said it would drive alot of people away. It didn't stop so I stopped coming around. To me, if you have a forum for POLITICS, please use that if you want to have political discussions....

Re: Caffe Fresca/Cafe Noelle

They are closed when Fresca is open and vice versa. Noelle will be like the old Fresca and the new Fresca has a "dressy-casual" atmosphere. Really nice digs. I know both owners will work hard to maintain the loyal following they've grown. The few times I've been to Fresca they've turned m...

Chinese Crawfish

I had the displeasure of eating some of these last week. We were in the Broadmoor area last week and stopped in C & A's seafood on South Jeff Davis before heading to the park and bought a four pounds to snack on. ($3.69/lb) While they were spicy the heat was not from cayenne. My dc said it taste...

Re: Endymion

I haven't attended Endymion in years but we used to catch it on Canal and Telemachus. Grace Episcopal church would sell food and bathroom passes. Also, I thought Mandina's used to do the same thing. Also around there is Katie's, Liuzza's and Ruby Slipper.

Re: Sheephead Filets and Oysters.

Jerry, did Dennis' have any crawfish yet? They do a nice job boiling them but I'm afraid it will be a very late season with all the cold weather.

Re: Today's Times Picayune Editorial Cartoon

I stand corrected and owe you an apology then, #7. I thought that was your response to the cartoon that Jerry was talking about.
And, I agree with you. We could make that place glass and it wouldn't bother me.
Sorry again.

http://cdn.crooksandliars.com/files/uploads/2009/01/torture_719b2.jpg Ahh, I get it. A foreign combatant that you believe is being tortured by the US military. Ahhh. How clever! Hmm, that person still seems to have his head attached to his body. Write me when you can find a picture that shows a pri...

Re: Sean Payton Buys Seattle Hot Dog Stand

This story is about to get interesting.
Think about it: taking the kids out of school mid-term (at SSA they are on the quarter system which makes it all the odder).
Payton saying he IS commuting and then saying he is staying?

He is not calling the shots.

His wife is.

For a reason.

SuperBowl

OK, this time last year we were in a 36-seat limo bus puttering down a really congested I-95 back to Miami, singing "We Are the Champions" at the top of our already hoarse voices but it didn't matter....cuz we were the champions. Were. So, with that in mind, and the ensuing depression that...
