Re: Coconut M&M's

After striking out in Metairie, we found them at Walgreen's at Napoleon and St. Charles. Little bags--we bought 15, but that was a few weeks ago.

Re: O'Donnell's in Ponchatoula

We've been for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. What a great place to land during a day of antiques and strawberries.

Re: Easter Dinner: What Did You Cook?

Grillades and grits, garlic bread pudding (recipe in Thurs. TP, just OK, won't make again), and a strawberry shortcake trifle. All good.

Sorry to hear about the beating. But did you eventually get the girl and the million dollars?

Lazyboy lets you pick your fabric and style and your order comes in in a few weeks. Gives you time to gather the rest of the money you owe after the deposit. I've gotten the best, non-ugly recliner there to perfectly match the room.

I get a similar stuffed potato from the drive thru at Corky's. It's the only reason I ever go there, and only from the drive thru.

I absolutely crave the aioli. It is so spicy with raw garlic that I reek for several days.

I don't remember being charged a corkage, but I haven't been since Katrina.

Re: Restaurant.com

suep, I just purchased 2 for One (love the place) and am looking at what's available in NYC. How did you find the "sale" coupons? Jodyrah, When you go to the website, sign up for email notices. You'll get sale offers with a code to put in when you purchase. Then you get the real bargains.

Re: Restaurant.com

We actually bought some "on sale" for 3 or 4 dollars. Just used the one for Vincent's, and had a wonderful meal. Haven't been in quite awhile, so the coupon was the incentive to go back. The marketing strategy worked! I also have one for One, have used Fausto's and Chops. All great bargain...
