Re: Jason at City Diner

Dilfan,

We were at the original in Metry on the service road.

I'd be glad to contact Jason, can you send me his contact info? I was really saddened by the whole experience.... it started off so well.

Re: Jason at City Diner

I'm so sorry to say this.... I've loved CD since it opened. I was so impressed with the cleanliness, the service, the delicious food, the prices.... My husband and I went there today for lunch.... it was filthy. A fly was buzzing around us the whole time... the floor had bits of food, napkin, straw-...

Smokin' Buddha BBQieux- N. Arnoult and 19th

Hi Everyone, A group of us went to lunch today at a new place in Fat City. It's Carolina-style barbeque and it's deeeelicious. Lots of different meats, slowly smoked and grilled - very good coleslaw and wonderful potato salad - baked beans and a bunch of things I didn't get to sample. I can't wait t...

Re: Granola

Ok, I'll check it out next time. Do you store it in the fridge? It's absolutely delicious - I wanted to put the fresh blueberries in the last fifteen minute cycle, so they'd burst and make little globs of blueberry goodness... but it browned much quicker than I anticipated. So I turned off the oven,...

I didn't check there! I checked yours though. I even checked the old NOPSI one too. Nothing - so I went online. :)

Granola

I just made some homemade granola. I can't believe I've never done this before... it's dEEEELICIOUS! I did a search and read a few recipes, but this is the one I settled on. I made a few changes. I used walnuts instead of cashews, I added Vanilla to the liquid, and I threw in some fresh blueberries ...

NoName Candy (crushed Oreo's & cream cheese)

I'm sure this wonderful treat has a name, I just don't know what it is... I tasted this at a gathering and was never able to talk to the person who brought them directly. Via third party I was told: One package Oreos One 8 oz block of cream cheese, softened White chocolate for melting Throw the oreo...

July 4th grill

We had a terrific day yesterday. I forgot my camera, lol... very unusual for me. Our host grilled everything under the sun, burgers, dogs for the kids, steaks, marinated chicken, sweet italian sausage from Fresh Market, (yum!), a wonderful cold slaw with lots of dill, this fabulous mexican corn sala...
