Re: Chef Pete
I like his style/attitude...a refreshing change from the networks.
Re: Madrid
I've been numerous times. Think a more refined, pricier Lola's. Tomato bread is delicious, but nothing you can't throw together at home (garlic laden bruschetta, chopped tomatoes topped with serrano). Ditto for the tasty garlic shrimp, sauteed in oil/garlic. The seafood/pasta dish is a huge portion ...

Re: I need suggestions
Boil some shrimp for remoulade or cocktail, blanch asparagus, wrap 3 to a bundle in prosciutto, grill with some steaks from Rare Cuts to go with your potatoes. Brocato gelato for dessert.

Re: Grass-fed ground beef sale
I'm not a fan of WF beef. No fat, no flavor. I prefer prime, well marbled steaks and fatty ground beef for burgers (combo sirloin for flavor, chuck for fat).

FWIW, when I picked up my whole prime ribeye, they said they will gladly dry age, trim and cut primals for free. Bone in takes 35 days.

Re: New Orleans w/ Ti Martin

Re: French Quarter Hotel Suggestion
I haven't stayed in any of these hotels since our house was finished: Omni Royal Orleans. My favorite. It is so New Orleans. If you join their select guest, free room upgrades (when avail), complimentary pot of coffee/ tea and juice. Rooftop pool w/qtr/river view. They used to include a coupon for 1...
