Sad day. A true comic genius who mastered the art of the deadpan maybe the best ever. I think Police Squad, the tv series was probably his best work. I remember when Tulane and Broad put a shoeshine guy in the cafeteria. I spent all day doing the routine of Jimmy the shoe shine guy.
