I guess he's gotten himself into quite a pickle.
While I don't generally like to laugh at people's legal misfortunes, I can only say that as someone who was forced at gunpoint to read Ms. Blume's age inappropriate dreck, I am going to laugh at her grandson's legal misfotune.
The grandson of famous young adult author Judy Blume has been arrested on Martha’s Vineyard for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl, according to a police official, reports the Cape Cod Times.
Elliot Blume-Pickle, 18, of Cambridge was arrested Tuesday after the alleged victim told the police Blume-Pickle raped her during a party on June 25. The police executed a search warrant at Judy Blume’s Kuffie’s Point Way home Tuesday. Blume-Pickle was arrested after the home was searched then charged with aggravated rape and assault and battery. He was arraigned and pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Edgartown District Court, then released on $5,000 bail, according to a Tisbury police press release.
