Does anyone have a recommendation for good fried chicken?

Re: Fried Chicken
To make at home or to order as an entree?

I'll take the word "recommendation" to mean "where to find", rather than a recipe request. Although I have never had it there, I understand Fury's in Metairie does it really well. Could be because the owner-- and I have it on good authority-- is fastidious about changing out fryer oil multiple times per week.

Fried Chicken at Coop's is damn good.

Fury's is very good and I'd like to add another Metairie location at Mr. Ed's on Live Oak between Bucktown and Bonnabel. With both places you'll have a little wait for your food to come out. Some folks call ahead with their orders.Low-N-Slow wrote:I'll take the word "recommendation" to mean "where to find", rather than a recipe request. Re: Fried Chicken
I really wasn't very clear, was I? Sorry. I did mean as an entree in a resturant and not for takeout or a recipe.
And thanks for the suggestions.

Fury's and Mr. Ed's are "eat in" suggestions.
