Martin's Uptown

Post by Gourmondo »

Demo is underway at the old Martin's Uptown site. One house on Baronne gone already today in < 24 hours. Can't wait for this. Very good news after five years.

Can't get done fast enough for me.....going out on Vets is a pain....but necessary from time to time. Has anyone tried the cheese "Boursaint" (sp),I think it's my new favorite. Got that great sour edge to it that is so unique. Had that and a Langres, and a Roaring Forties blue last weekend. Over my quota for long time to come, but it was worth it.

They are moving right along, another house gone today. Chef David was out surveying things yesterday. I wish they'd get rid of the rest of the blighted houses in the neighborhood while they're at it, but that should come soon enough.
