If you plan to use a restaurant.com cert......

Post by jodyrah »

either call the restaurant or rest.com to verify its validity. We tried to use one at LBTT Sat. The waitress said:
1. they have not been accepting the certificates since the first of the year, 2. they asked to be removed from the list
3. they are suing them.

I called rest.com and they issued me a credit. They checked my other cert. and as of yesterday, these are still valid:
Coquette
Brooklyn Pizza
Lola's

Last week I recieved an email from rest.com informing me that Austin's Creole Kitchen was no longer accepting cert. They issued a credit.

What's LBTT?

Austin's Creole Kitchen finally went t!ts up. The only surprise there is that it took so long.

No, that would be his unabashed support for Sarah Palin.

Good advise! Thought we've never had it happen to us, we have heard that it's happened to others. I had one for a restaurant that went out of business and they did issue me a credit.

I have one for LBTT and also for Austin's...so looks like I'll have to get credits on those too.

I used one the other night at Cafe Degas and they even allowed our $50 bottle of wine to count toward the amount!

Yeah but that's not nearly as funny as purporting to be some type of political independent when you subscribe to a knee jerk liberal position on every conceivable issue.

What number do you call to get a credit?
I don't have the certificates in front of me, but called the number listed
on the certificate to no avail. I've been meaning to ask y'all.

I have several that have closed & appreciate your assistance.

Thanks for bringing this topic to the forefront, Jodyrah.
