Even 3 1/2 years later, I still lose it watching the blocked punt.
What you are seeing here is the creation of a sports mythos. 25, 30 years from now, we'll be talking about this team the way Brooklyn-ites talk about the 55 Dodgers or Clevelanders feel about the 64 Browns or Miami alums allegiance to the mid 80s Hurricanes. Sent that to my entire family. One nephew had the nerve to send me back one he liked better. It was a six minute video of Payton Manning's highlights proclaiming him a hero and perfect. I immediately shot off a reply admonishing him and driving home the fact that his grandfather is turning in his grave at the thought of him not rooting for the Saints. I did tell him it was okay to root for Archie's boys anytime except when they play our Saints.
