How hilarious is the Henry Louis Gates Arrest?

I am not sure how many of you know about this but the whole thing is beyond comprehension. It's a good thing Dr. Gates isn't a professor at Loyola or Tulane or NOPD would have planted some rock on him to go with the disorderly conduct charge. Now Gates is suggesting that the officer apologize to him:
I believe the police officer should apologize to me for what he knows he did that was wrong,’’ Gates said in a phone interview from Martha’s Vineyard. “If he apologizes sincerely, I am willing to forgive him. And if he admits his error, I am willing to educate him about the history of racism in America and the issue of racial profiling.
The bottomline is this isn't racial profiling. Witness sees Gates and another black male bust in the door of the house. Witness calls police. Police respond and find two men matching the description provided by the witness inside the house. Police ask for identification. Gates screams racism. That's not racial profiling, that's responding to a 911 call. Beyond absurd. I love it when people big time cops. Yeah that gets you real far. Unless you are Eddie Price.

You know how much kids at Harvard would pay for a private tutoring session with Henry Louis Gates? The cop is getting the deal of a lifetime.

I disagree. I totally think it was racial profiling.

He did show them his ID with the obvious address of the house and he was still arrested. Had he and his driver been white I don't think it would have happened at all....

Posting an irrelevent article from Atlanta and making charges without knowing the facts or hearing the other side, you could be President.

As most of you know, I have no love for Barak Obama or his policies. Regardless, I am not as incensed about his mere existence as most liberals were about the fact that GHB and Bar decided to conceive a son in 1946. For the most part, it is pretty hard to tell through media filters what kind of person the President is. But after last night's carefully orchestrated media slobberfest, where Obama interjected himself into the Gates controversy by saying the police officer acted "stupidly", I leanred one thing. He is a first class, grade A asshole. Why the contempt for people like Joe the Plumber and Sgt Crowley, Mr. President?

Perhaps it is Obama who would benefit from a lecture from Sgt. Crowley about police procedures and why when a police officer responds to a call from a complaining witness, IT ISN'T RACIAL PROFILING||!|!|!!

The bottomline is this, in my whole life the only person I ever saw get away with big timing a cop was Eddie Price. Anytime, you try to pull rank on a police officer, you are spending the night in the pokey. Guaranteed.

Incidentally, how the hell did a question about Gates get approved by the WH but not one question about Iraq, Iran or Afghanistan. Some news conference.

He got arrested for disorderly conduct for following the cop outside and yelling at them. He had his chance to let the event just fade away into a memory, but he had to play angry black victim man and it turned out like this.

I have always found that a few things work very well with police. Do as they say and shut the hell up.

This article has interesting background facts about the police officer.
Also, you can view his report about the incident on Smoking Gun.
Bam Bam...Pres. Obama's favorite reporter from Chicago ask the
question, Ms. Sweet. Probably a set-up to give him a break from
rambling.

Obama was stupid to answer the question at a nationally televised press conference on health care. He said he wasn't there and did not see what happened. He should have said after that he had no comment. Instead he has stirred up a hornets nest. His approval rating on Gallup hit an all time low today.

I had a similar experience once when I locked myself out of the house, and while I am not black, long hair and a Slayer t-shirt does lead to profiling. When they asked for my ID I politely answered yes sir and presented it. After inspecting my ID I was told to repair my window and to have a nice day. I thanked the officers for looking out for my property.

Here is the smoking gun link.
So of today, the officer said he will not appologize. Good for him.
Someone go paste this link for powdered sugar wherever he hangs out these days. I am sure his panties are so tight right now from being upset about this that his balls are blue.
Tell him that the cop saved a black man by giving him CPR.
Screw Obama and his dumbass racist self.
