I've got several Carrion plants that produce a star shaped flower up to about a foot wide.
When newly opened it smells like rotting flesh (up close - a few inches).
They attract large flies who think they are accomplishing something.
It's a succulent that roots easily. I'd be glad to share some if anyone's interested.
They make a great converstion piece plant...

That's a very interesting flower, Jer, but the last thing I need is one that smells like rotting flesh! However, check out the Papaya thread in a few minutes!
