This is cool: http://lab.andre-michelle.com/tonematrix

It's a synthesizer/sequencer. Activate one or more blocks in columns from left to right. You can deactivate a block by clicking on it again if you don't like how it changed the pattern. Once it gets going, it's kind of hypnotic. Even randomly clicking on a bunch of blocks produces something musical. Press spacebar to clear and start over. If you make something you like, right click and Copy, then Paste into a new text file for pasting back later into the application. Diagonal lines of blocks make interesting sounding figures.

Here's a sequence someone posted on the author's blog:

38052,93018,63420,38052,63420,93018,63420,38052,63420,93018,63420,38052,63420,63420,38052,93018

Highlight, copy, and paste to the grid. I can't seem to get rid of the space in the middle, but if you paste it elsewhere first and remove it, it should work.

Nice!
Reminds me of Theresa Anderson's "Na Na Na" which she did in her kitchen with samplers. Up to 893,000 views on youtube!
