The cd/dvd is out today! You can buy it at Starbucks or order it online. I'm off to Starbucks to get this.

I found it at the Starbucks on Elmwood. The manager there was very nice..she was excited that I knew about the project. She had been to the promotional party for the project. If you go in..ask for the manager and get her to tell you about the party. Sounds like it was a great time.

It's pretty good. I've enjoyed it. It has a cd and dvd. 5 songs on the dvd...more on the cd.

I first saw the "Stand By Me" and "One Love" videos by Mark Johnson last year. Really good stuff. Really good. Gave me goosebumps.

To take it a step further, I was at Momo's in Austin on Thursday, March 19, 2009, when, for the first time ever, a selection of the musicians from the Mark Johnson video projects played live together. I met and talked with several of the musicians, including a percussionist/singer from the
congo (wearing a hand lettered t shirt that said "Listen to Peter Tosh"). Grandpa from Royal St. in NO was a feature performer. It was awesome. The DVD might be of that performance. If not, I think the performance is archived on the UT website. Momo's is a relatively small club, and it was sold out I consider myself very lucky and blessed to be there for a magic musical moment.

Sometimes, its good being Turbodog.
