any chance of getting more than 10 posts on a page of each thread?

You can change it to your personal liking in your profile. Edit Options, scroll down to Thread Display Options: 5, 10, 20, 30, 40.

now then, the number of pages for a particular thread reflect only 10 posts per page?

seems to be fixed now; but this is what was happening:
i changed to 20 posts per page, but the page # for that thread did not add up.
par example, there are 30 posts on 2 pages (if set at 20 per page); but the page #s at the top right has 3 pages to click on, as if there is another page of posts for that thread.
