While visiting daughter #1 in Sacramento, she made a novel and tasty version of Brussels Sprouts. All amounts are my etimates, adjust to taste.
1 to 1.5 lb Fresh Brussels Sprouts, cleaned and cut into quarters.
0.5 cup Olive Oil
1 tblsp minced garlic
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 Lemon, juiced
Add sprouts, oil, garlic, seasoning, salt and pepper to saute pan. Saute for about 10-12 minutes until sprouts begin to brown, and soften, slightly. Move to serving dish and sprinkle (drizzle) on lemon juice.
I loved it. Have repeated it once already. I like it better than (ordinary) steaming.

Sounds good!
I like 'em sliced, browned in olive oil, then a blast of balsamic vinegar and a big chunk of butter.........

I like balsamic as well. I'll try it next time in place of the lemon juice.

I've done them similarly on the grill. I too like them browned.
When boiling, I cut little x's into their bottoms to help cook them faster so they do not melt away in the water.

I cut in 1/2, toss with olive oil, salt, freshly ground pepper and convect roast 400' till they get just a bit crispy. Squeeze on lemon juice or drizzle with balsamic.
