Aglianico wines

Post by jimbeaux »

Interesting article in today's NY Times about the aglianico grape from southern Italy:

Anyone aware of any aglianico's available in the New Orleans area? Jon?

Yes, it's available. I have one on my wine list, as a matter of fact. I've never looked for it at retail, but I'm pretty sure either Martin's or Dorignacs would have something in that varietal.
