In a blind tasting, one might easily mistake this Argentine Malbec for a $15-20 Bordeaux red. All of the "every day Bordeaux" sensibilities of black cherry fruit and mild tannins with none of the green bell pepper Carmenere notes prevalent in many low-end S.A. reds.
