We had this discussion last year (or the year before) with some disagreement. The Rib Room does not participate in FQF; however, you can still get the sandwich at their bar next to the restaurant.

I am saddened also. But I will just triple up on Tujague's Brisket with Spicy Creole Sauce. A favorite recipe I make about 4 times a year to hold me over till next FQF!

Actually, I like the music along Royal St. It give me a break from the crowds (and the sun) at the Riverwalk.

Also, I have good info that the Rib Room will be selling their sandwiches just outside of their bar on Royal St.

Will your buddy Chef Anthony Spizale be there in the bar mingling with the crowd and selling his sandwiches?

I would suspect he would be on one of the weekend days if not both. We talked about the Rib Room's "Sip's in the City" program more than FQF.
Next week is Italian themed food with wines from Southern Italy. Sorry I will miss that as I know Anthony can cook Italian.
He told me the April installment will feature a scotch pairing dinner. I will definitely try to bid that off so I can attend.
Oh, and keep your eye out on NOWFE website for their wine dinner. Hopefully they'll going public with their vintner partner soon!
