dining in D.C.?

Post by josemama »

Headed to Washington in a few days for the saints game and was looking for some reccommedations for good places to eat. We are going to Blue Duck Tavern for an early dinner and the package comes with another dinner at Ruth's Chris. Looking for one more upscale dinner place that is open on mondays and a couple casual lunch spots.

Pete Vazquez (late of Marisol) is living in the DC area these days, so I axed him where you should go for "upscale" and he replied, ""lots of good upscale...Acadiana, Komi, Zaytina, Palena, Sushi-Ko...CityZen...
Not upscale, but Hollywood East. The best Chinese I've EVER had...Great Dim Sum and outrageously good a la carte menu.
Lots of..well...wiggly bits."
