LOL! Thanks, Art. We'll be going back to that area. There are a few old townsites we want to check out. Logtown, Napoleon, Gainesville, all in the NASA Buffer Zone.

Jeeves,
Did you go to the end of Indian Village Rd.?
Was the Catfish restaurant still there?
....I used to get my catfish for my restaurant (Shakers in OLd Mandeville, 1993-95) there.

We were all over back there, Jerry. Didn't see Indian Village Catfish and Nanette had asked about it, too, so I got in touch with Bingoman (He used to cook there, etc.) and he said the place was washed away by Katrina. He lost a bunch of his artwork that was displayed in the place.

Washed away.... geez, that's sad, Jeeves. Thanks for the update. I have such FOND memories of that joint, back in the "good old days".... '80s. :(

BTW: I've got some neat cemetery pictures from my Ireland trip in June.... will post a link for you and Mrs. Fury. (??) :)

It was an interesting ride, gorgeous scenery especially along the East Pearl River. We'll be going back.

I gotta bring my dad a weed that turned into a willow tree. It surely will not live in the pot where it lives now. MS trip soon.
