Happy Birthday Pete!

Post by Jerry »

Pete Fountain is 79 today...
His secretary was in this morning and claimed that he would be opening the Blue Room later this month.

..and this will be the 50th Anniversary of the Half-Fast Marching Club.

A New Orleans legend lives on....Happy Birthday Pete :toast:

Yay, Pete! Happy birthday! Jerry, did Pete and Beverly move back to BSL? I know they were living in Hammond for a while after Katrina.

I believe they have a place in BSL and one in Lakeview.
Th Blue Room opening was sold out...his secreteary couldn't even get in. Not sure how often he may perform there.
I was honored to have him visit our store with his family back around Christmas...got to chat about half an hour.

the October grand opening of The Roosevelt w/Pete performing has a wait list, if you want to try to get on it. I hear the price is not set yet, but expect $$$$ as it is also for charity.
you can always go to the Blue Room before then. here's a link to when Tim Laughlin's is performing at both The Sazerac Bar and The Blue Room:

After Mon & Tues, even the calendar says W-T-F!
