Man, it sucked. I bought a ticket to Red Eye which started about 15 minutes after W. I figured I'd duck in W. get so pissed off in the first 10 minutes, I wouldn't miss any of Red Eye. There are seven people in the theater. A couple of left wing Kool-Aid drinkers behind me, a yuppie couple and two women who probably weren't lesbians but could have been.

Anyway, the the thing is so bad, that you want to stay and watch to see if it can get any worse. Josh Brolin's acting is reminicent of bad porn and the movie has no real coherent story other than to suggest that every DU internet rumor about Bush is true and a few products of Stone's imagination (such as Poppy rigging the 2000 election) might be.

I sat through the whole god awful thing. At the end, the Kool Aid drinkers get up and say "Man, that was terrible" which made staying to the end worth it, I think.

The overeducated yuppie couple who apparently spend too much time on Sunday reading the NYT seemed to actually like the movie. The girlfriend says "it was good". And the no balls boyfriend is like "yeah I enjoyed it."

I couldn't imagine from the previews that it would be any good, no matter whether you liked Bush or hated Bush..............
