"International Jericho fans organized a floral tribute to General McAuliffe. Flowers recently arrived at Bastogne to honor this historic US General. This was a tribute to General McAuliffe who in World War 2 held off the Germans at a critical battle in Bastogne, Belgium in the Winter of 1944. When he was asked to surrender vastly outnumbered he responded “Nuts”. "

Vote for Jericho to make it to the big screen!
http://www.sliceofscifi.com/2008/10/26/ ... ig-screen/

Also, believe it or not there are still some folks fighting for this show! Universal HD is currently the only U.S. channel airing the show, and they are committed to running it through December. Universal is a fouth place network with many cable channels, and not a lot of scripted dramas. The folks at Universal HD have shown quite an interest in Jericho, and plan to run the "Save Jericho" commercial that we were successful in airing in the Hollywood/LA area. The commercial had to be redone in HD and there are some legal issues to work out, but they will run the commercial nationally on Universal HD for $2000(what a bargain), and we already have the money, we are just waiting on the format and legal issues.

If you wish to encourage Universal to pick up this show, please send a postcard to the following:

SAVE JERICHO AGAIN TV AD GOES NATIONAL

ON NBC UNIVERSAL HD THROUGH DECEMBER

UHD media flight coincides with re-introduction of
Jericho's Seasons 1 & 2 on The CW Network

In what's considered to be yet another first by a fan community supporting a beloved show, the NBC Universal HD Channel will begin airing nationally a fan-funded and –produced TV commercial designed to highlight the desired resurrection of the post-apocalyptic drama Jericho. Slated to run through the month of December 2008,
the Save Jericho Again TV ad dovetails with Universal HD's run of the CBS-canceled show about a small Kansas town's fight for survival in the wake of nuclear bombs dropped on 23 American cities.

Fans, or Jericho Rangers, as they're often called, decided to expand their footprint beyond two previous ad buys in the Los Angeles area and raise several thousand dollars more in donations from around the globe to purchase a total of 85 spots to air on a national scale on Universal HD beginning December 1st. The 30-second ad, created
by Jericho fan Jason Moore (screen name Rubberpoultry), will air in day parts of the Monday-Friday schedule and on Saturday and Sunday evenings through December 28th.

Surprisingly and coincidentally, the UHD flight schedule will coincide with the start of The CW Network's airing of Jericho's first and second seasons on Sunday nights at 7 PM, beginning November 30th. The CW, owned by CBS, announced on November 22nd that it was dumping its current Sunday night schedule for a revamped weekly
ine-up that would include all 29 episodes of Jericho.

The national NBC UHD ad run is a follow-up to two previous campaigns, in which more than 400 Save Jericho Again cable commercials aired in June and September in the Los Angeles area with popular, ratings-rich shows on the ESPN, Discovery, History, and Sci-Fi Channels. The original intent was to target efforts in and around the Hollywood industry area where a decision about Jericho's rumored future would most likely be made. The ad was created to complement fans' other media efforts and to maintain awareness of support for the show, its cast, and crew in the time frame that several networks had expressed an interest in reviving Jericho's story.

Upon completion of those two campaigns, Jericho Rangers decided to expand their reach

nationally on Universal HD, which features Jericho episodes airing through the end of 2008. Despite high-definition conversion challenges (overcome with the generous assistance of USA Studios in Los Angeles and AD-ID LLC in North Carolina) and other logistical issues, fans have overcome the obstacles and brought to fruition their goal for multiple national airings of the Save Jericho Again ad.

Universal HD is a uniquely programmed, full-time network offering the best of NBC Universal's premier sporting events, blockbuster films, and award-winning TV series to over 3 million homes across the country. The CW Network, set to begin running Jericho episodes on Sunday, November 30th, is a joint venture between Warner Bros. Entertainment and CBS Corporation and America's fifth broadcast network, specifically targeting women in the 18-34 age group.

Thank all the fans for their support. I hope they are enjoying the CW run of Jericho and assure them we're still working on a continued life of the series.

Happy Holidays to everybody.

Love Carol Barbee

Interesting Jericho flag. I usually do not post pictures of it because they are controversial, but I like this one because it is like the one on my cell phone, but the bars are vertical in this one, like on the show. This is the flag of the Cheyenne government.

FINALLY! SOME GOOD NEWS!! A JERICHO FEATURE FILM

“We’re developing a feature for JERICHO,” says Turteltaub. “It would not require you to have seen the TV show, but it get into life after an event like this on a national scale. It would be the bigger, full on American version of what’s going on beyond the town in Jericho.”

Tuesday night I saw April Parker (Darcy Hawkins) on NCIS. Good to see her working again. She had a small part in the last season of Lost, as well.

It also appears that Lennie James (Robert Hawkins) has landed a part in a CBS pilot that has yet to be named.

"In an as-yet-untitled legal drama being developed by The Unit co-executive producer Frank Military, James will play a former assistant district attorney who, after being disbarred, toils as a paralegal in the U.S. Attorney's office in Manhattan, says the Hollywood Reporter."

http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/tvguide/4 ... gif16.html

Lennie James is a great actor and I am happy to see him getting work.

Sprague Grayden made her first appearance as the President's daughter in Monday nights episode of 24. Her career is really taking off.

As far as Jericho goes, ratings on the CW reruns took a big hit during football season, but improved this last week. I doubt they are anywhere close to what they need to be for someone to consider picking the show up for a new season, but they are in line with The CW's ratings for prime time during the week, and are significantly better then what The CW was getting before on Sunday nights. The show also comes on at 5:30 PM now as opposed to 6PM. The CW was removed from TV Guide, but after an uproar from Jericho fans and Gossip Girl fans TV guide has put The CW back in, so I think that helped a little with the ratings as well. It appears TV Guide is still used by many to find out what is on TV.

No further news on the movie since Jon T.'s mention of it, but I am hearing a lot about some Morse code going around on TV Talk radio, so perhaps that is some kind of clue.
