Goodbye Guiding Light

Post by dragongrrl »

I haven't watched GL since I was in my twenties, but I felt very sad to hear of it's demise. It's amazing how much I remember of that time. Billy and Reva and Josh. Best storyline evah. Alan, best villain. Philip and Beth, Rick and Mindy. FUN.

So long old friend.
Now this is more like it.

I am surprised that the cast stayed as long too. (on all of the soaps) I used to watch Y & R and now some of the babies on the show are the main characters. Have not watched in ages but if I go back I am sure the storyline will be the same. LOL

I heard this rumor too.... when is it supposed to end? Because it's still going strong. I rarely watch it anymore though, after all these years, lol... it had gotten TOOOOOOO stOOOOOOpid, even for a die hard fan like me. Reva's "Movie life story" kinda did it for me.

Oh really? I hadn't heard that. Interesting. I still won't watch, but I hope it works out for them.
