Post by applepie »

British Comedy??? OMG I love a few of them

Have You Been Served
Keeping Up Appearances
The Vicar of Dubley

Yes I know they are in re-runs on Public TV and not Movies, but they still crck me up every Sunday night.

And anything Adam Sandler makes me fall on the floor.

Ooh, we used to watch a bunch of those. "To The Manor Born", "Good Neighbours" (we have on DVD), "Are You Being Served?" (really, really cult Brit-Com), and (Holy Cow!) Black Adder: Rowan Atkinson and House's Hugh Laurie in some extremely funny Brit stuff.

On the Sci fi boards the Dr. Who fans were the most supportive of the efforts of the Jericho fans and helped us out with a few post cards and some fund raising, while other show's boards dissed us. One person remarked that "of course they are sympathetic, they have been fighting for their show for 30 years." I like the older one better, but the new one on Sci Fi aint bad.

I also used to enjoy Benny Hill.

Anyone remember "The Two Ronnies"? (Sketch humor ala Benny Hill.)

Netflix has lots of them. Along with lots of old TV shows. I've been having a ball watching them.
Now this is more like it.

My set of Fawlty Towers was lost in the storm, and I have to replace it. Even though there are only twelve episodes I found myself watching them very often. John Cleese was hilarious.

We have the full DVD sets of Fawlty Towers, Are You Being Served, Keeping Up Appearences. I am thinking that feng may be Mrs. Richards's daughter.
